I stand at work 8 - 10 hours, and found these very light, cool and comfortable. My feet are wide and quite square in the toes, so I was surprised at how well these Medium-width shoes fit, especially since the toe appears tapered. I've been out walking, hard and fast, in these and they stay securely in place. They were an excellent value at the $27~ I paid - I just wish they were still available in my size and the other colors!
