I bought the 36 plus and the tag says 16W. Im an 18 and Ive always heard too size down in judy blues, but the 16 was still a little big in the legs and rear. These are super high rise and hit me about 2" above the belly button and they are way too long for me. I am 5'4" and Im wearing 3" heel booties in the picture and they are still dragging the ground. They are really nice quality and the braided detail on the waist is so cute. I just wish they fit.Love the color and fit around the waist, thighs, and butt! I am 5’6” and they are way too long. Even with wedges on, they still drag on the ground. If you’re tall, you’ll love them! These jeans are wonderful if you're looking for more of a wide/flared style, versus a regular boot cut. The braided waistband and wide hem are nice details that make these jeans look unique! The denim is soft and comfortable, but not flimsy at all. This order arrived within three days, too, despite Amazon saying my area would have weather delays, and the packaging was secure.I bought my normal Judy Blue size (15/32), and these jeans fit me perfectly right out of the package. The length is more than sufficient for me, too - if you're shorter than about 5'9", or don't plan to wear heels, you may need to have these hemmed. For your reference, I'm 5'10", weigh 215, and carry weight in my midsection. In most other brands (Vigoss/Universal Standard/City Chic/Torrid/American Eagle) I'm a consistent size 16 for jeans.
